Decision Making

It is really hard to choose on which road we are going to take, the right road, or theleft road? Here comes the decision making. Are you sure of the decision you are making? Just be sure that it is in accordance in God's will.

A True chiristian should be sure that every decision you made is in accordance to God's will.

Here are but just simple steps to be sure that your decision is in accorance to God's will.

   Talk to God in Prayer
   Often we heard from preachers that God is just a prayer away. Meaning to say, anytime of the day we can come to Him and talk to Him through prayer. Whatever decisions you have made up in your mind, there is a greater time to bring it to God and talk it over with Him. God is always there, waiting for us. It is but just our time when are we available to talk to him. God is always available 24 hours a day and no time out. He is always there to listen to us. Talk it over with Him for He is there willing to answer.

   Seek His Answer through His Word
   You can find God's answer by listening and reading His Word. Sometimes, we wonder why the preacher preaches such sermon that he did not even know your where abouts, or even your problems. Even in reading God's Word, the chapter that you read coincides with what you did talk to God through prayer. That is the answer to what you talk to Him. God doesn't give us the direct answer but you will know it through His Word. Just talk to Him and He will give you the best answer through His Word.

   Follow His Leading
   You know now what is God's answer with the decision you are making. It His leading to the decision you are making. Follow it in order to receive blessings. If you will not follow Him, I'm sure that you will undergo hardships and difficulties. At the end, your labor will all be useless and there is no blessings because you did not follow His will. Always remember, Following God is a great blessing and will add more blessings if you continue on to follow his leading.

Let's put in mind that we are just pilgrim in this world. If we will not follow our Leader we will wander and go with the trends of this trouble world. Just follow God and you will have the right path to walk through.

Setting affection on Heavenly Things

A Christian sometimes get tired, discourage and is easily driven out by temptation because of what this trouble world is trying to drive out to the life of every Christian.

But as Christian we should not lose hope. We are on the victory side. All we need to do is just to set our affection on the heavenly things. If we do this, for sure we can go on.

 We can face all of Satan’s darts because we have the following assurance.

*We can overcome temptation

According to the book of James, blessed is the man that endureth temptation for when he is tired he shall receive a crown of life. This is the only assurance we have to overcome those temptations that surrounds us.

We know that Satan have many designs in tempting us in order that we will be trap. Sometimes he causes us to suffer in order that we will give up our faith. Don’t get trap go on; endure those temptations by setting your affections on heavenly things.

*We can overcome anxiety

Sometimes this world would give us many problems that will keep us worrying and it seems that we have no hope and no one ever dare to help us. Don’t give up; always remember that God is always there, as He said in His Word. Casting all your cares upon Him for He careth for you. Whatever problems and circumstances we face, let’s just put in mind that if we set our affection on the heavenly things, God is always there waiting to carry us through so that we can go on even though we feel tired.

*We can overcome discouragement

Often in this life we get discourage. Don’t worry my fellow Christian, if you feel discourage just talk it to the Lord in prayer and set your mind on those heavenly things. Always remember God’s promises and you can move on in the midst of discouragement. Don’t give up, stand up, stand firm. Remember you have a Friend whom you can talk too in the midst of your discourage life. In Christian life there is such discouragement but a challenge. Take the challenge and move on for afterward lies great blessings.

Fellow Christian keep your eyes on the heavenly things and set your affection on things above, this is the only way that we can stand in this trouble world.

Go, Grow, Glow: Spiritual Food

In a fast changing modern world, Christian often forgets their daily duty and obligation before their God which is their daily duty and obligation in order for them to grow spiritually. Often they are led by the world’s amusements which make them forget their duty and obligation.

As a Christian we have an obligation before God that will also help our spiritual life grow and make us mature. Not only that, we can also receive more blessings if we do this.

Our daily duty and obligation before God is to meditate upon His word and Pray.

God’s Word is our spiritual food. Like food for our physical body our spiritual life also needs spiritual food. If the food that we eat everyday gives us nutrients and elements to help us grow and strong, the same also with our spiritual food. Our physical foods are divided into three groups, the go, grow and glow.

GO-keeps us strong and energetic that despite of the trials, testing and temptations, still we have that spiritual energy to go on with alert mind and ready heart. Keep on reading God’s Word and pray in order to have more energy to keep you going.

GROW-make us grow. As Christian after being born again into God’s family, we should not remain babe, we need to grow. How can we grow spiritually if we do not have a daily devotion which is Bible reading and prayer? If a Christian keeps on meditating God’s Word he will become spiritually mature, a fully grown up Christian. If you are a mature and fully grown up Christian I’m sure that you will not act as a child because you can easily understand spiritual things.

GLOW-What is the effect of glow food s. it makes our skin healthy, our hair, everything in our body looks healthy if we eat nutritious food that is rich in glow elements. As Christian we can also have a glow effect in our spiritual life. Our life will shine. People around us will wonder why we have such shining admirable character despite of the difficulties that we are facing in life. You can smile despite of life’s circumstances. But if you lack spiritual food you can’t smile but murmur.

Are you a spiritually feed Christian because of the spiritual food you eat everyday or an ill Christian because you forget to eat your daily spiritual food due to the world’s amusement which make you forget to eat.       

Christian Example

As a true Christian we should know how to deal our neighbors. Our neighbors are the one who always watch every step we take and everything we do. They look at as that as though we are perfect. They would always make a comment if ever they see even just a little mistake in every move we make.

As a true Christian we should always have a limitation with these people because we know that they are different from us. We are different in belief though they claim were the same. Different outlook in life, different in actions and in everything.

We should set as an example:

Though how hard it is to do, let’s just give our best by the grace of God that we can be a good example to them. Sometimes, instead of hearing good comments from them what we hear is a negative feedback because we cannot set a good example to them. Our lives never show to them that we are different. Instead we conform with them. That’s the reason why every time we cannot go with what they are doing because we cannot take it, that’s the time that they will start making negative comments about us. Before hand, it should be that we already know how to avoid those things which they use to do in order for them to know that you don’t really belong to them.

We need to show them the truth:

We should show them the truth about what God wants us to be, and what God wants them to be. Tell them the truth about God and His Word. We should tell them what to do and the whole truth that God wants all people to know. We should not hide to them everything we know. By setting as an example we already tell them the truth about God. So as Christian start showing the truth about God through your life and testimony.

These are just two simple truths but can give greater impact if as Christian we can put them to practice.

Enjoyable Christian Life

Being a Christian we cannot surely say that we are in a life that is free from all problems. Well, the truth of the fact is that, we are surrounded with trials and problems which sometimes almost made us upset.

In our Christian life, it is but common and normal that after we are born again into God’s family, for sure we are to encounter all of the trials and testing in life. But is good and blessing with us, is that we are able to handle and tackle all of this with joy because we know that our loving Father is always there. He upholds us, strengthen us and cover us with His mighty arms. So, despite of it all we still can live an "Enjoyable Christian Life"                                                                                                             

In our environment, we can’t do the same thing with what our neighbors are doing. Yes, they do have their enjoyment, but to say, those are but just passing happiness. After they celebrate the happiness they feel will also vanish away. Not with us Christians, we enjoy doing God’s work. Those joys that we feel will not pass but becomes an inspiration in our everyday life if ever we face problems. It will make us smile despite of hardships we are facing.

It is nice to hear from the people who are not born again that they have seen something different from us. If ever there are great and big troubles come, we as Christians can face it confidently with smile in our faces. If ever those things happen to them we can’t surely say that they can offer a big smile or a word of encouragement. But for us, we can do it. On their side maybe they have lost hope but in our side we have a great hope. That is the thing that makes us smile despite of it all.

So, fellow Christians, whatever this life may bring in this world that we are living, let’s just take the Word of God as our inspiration. It will make us stand firm, grow mature and guides us through everything we tackle. So, go on with your “Enjoyable Christian Life”. God knows and sees it. He will give you more joy and happiness if you just take Him at his Word.

  

What is God's Purpose in our life?

Being a Christian, I know that we have a different purpose in life. We know that we are born again into God's family, we are children of God and God has a real purpose in each of our lives. But as a true christian whether we like it or not we should know God's real purpose in our life.

God's purpose in our life being our Father is that:

We should obey Him.

As children of God we should be obedient to His Word. We should obey what He says in order that He will be happy and delighted with us. When our earthly faher is happy for us because we obey him, he is willing to give us anything we ask because he is delighted with us. Much morewith our heavenly Father is willing to give us anything we ask if we will just delight ourself to Him (Psalm 37:4). But the question is: Are you an obedient child? Doyou obey your Heavenly Father? Obey Him if you want Him to give you what you ask for.

We should be proud of Him.

Each father is happy whenever they that their children were very proud of having a father like them.

It's an overwhelming joy that a father feels when ever his children is proud of him. How much more our heavenly Father, when God knows that we are proud being a Christian, we are proud of being God's child, we are proud that we have a Heavenly Father and we are part of His Kingdom. We should be proud that our spiritual Father is the King of kings and Lord of lords. We should be thankful that we are a part of His family. We should be thankful that God did give us privilege of becoming His Son. Other people were proud of what they believe eventhough they are not sure of it. Its just a tradition and a practice from their older generation. They are not sure of their salvation. How much more we, who are true christian and what we believe is true and we have a sure hope and assurance. We are a Scripture based Christian. Everything we belioeved is base in the Bible (God's Word). We should be proud of it, we should be proud of our Heavenly Father.

We should show Him in our life.

It seems that eventhough we are christians but sometimes we conform to this world. The best thing each child of God should do is to seperate from the world in order to show a godly life. When we say Godly life, we are living a life that is in accordance to God. When we say seperate it doesn't mean to go somewhere else and not to live in this world. But to seperate means, we should not follow the things the world is doing which does not conform to God's will. We should show to the world that we are a christian and show them God's purpose in your life being a true Christian.
