True Christians: Scripture Based


Many religious group would come to a devate just to prove that they are the true Christians, they claim that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, they claim that they know Jesus, they said that Jesus is the Son of God that was made flesh and dwelt among us. They have different views, aspects and practices but the question still remains “Who are the true Christians?”

There are different religions who claims to be a Christian group. Each of them prove with Biblical views that they are Christians. They prove that their religion believe in Jesus Christ. They have different reasons and point of views just to prove that they are the true Christians.

Are Roman Catholics True Christians?

The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the world's largest Christian church, with more than a billion members. Its leader is the Pope whoholds supreme authority in concert with the College of Bishops of which he is the head. The Church defines its mission as spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, administering the Sacraments and exercising charity. It operates social programs and institutions throughout the world including schools, universities, hospitals, missions, shelters and charities.

The Church is the oldest continuous institution in the Western world, and has played a prominent role since the 4th century. It teaches that it is the “One, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church” founded by Jesus Christ, that its bishops are consecrated successors of his Apostles and that the Pope as the successor of St. Peter possesses a universal primacy of jurisdiction and pastoral care. Church doctrines have been defined through 21 ecumenical councils and the Church maintains that it is guided by the Holy Spirit from falling into doctrinal error. Catholic beliefs are based on the Holy Bible and Sacred Tradition interpreted by the Church's teaching authority and detailed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Catholic worship is called the liturgy, the central component of which is the Eucharist.

Are Seventh-day Adventists True Christians?

The Seventh-day Adventist Church (commonly abbreviated SDA, officially abbreviated Adventist) is a christian denomination which is distinguished by its observance of Saturday, the original seventhday of the Judeu-christian week, as the Sabbath, and by its emphasis on the imminent second coming of Jesus Christ. It is the twelfth-largest religious body in the world. The denomination grew out of the Millerite movement in the United States during the middle part of the 19th century and was formally established in 1863. Among its founders was Ellen G. White, whose extensive writings are still held in high regard by the church today.
The theology of the Seventh-day Adventist Church corresponds to Protestant Christian teachings such as the Trinity and the authority and infallibility of Scripture. Distinctive teachings include the unconcious state of the dead and the doctrine of an investigative judgment. The church is also known for its emphasis on diet and health, its holistic understanding of the person, its promotion of religious liberty, and its conservative principles and lifestyle.

Are Jehovah's Witnesses True Christians?

Jehovah's Witnesses is a millenarian restorationist christian Denomination with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity. The religion reports worldwide membership of over 7 million adherents involved in evangelism, convention attendance of over 12 million, and annual Memorial attendance of over 18 million. They are directed by a Governing Body of Elders which exercises authority on all doctrinal matters. Witnesses base their beliefs on the Bible, and prefer their own translation, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.


Those are just large religious groups who claim that they are Christian and they believe in God.All of them have common and different views about their belief. They have their own practices being a Christian.

Who are the true Christians?
Christians are those who believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. That Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven (John 14:6,). A person who experienced personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour (John 1:12). Who confessed his sins (1 John 1:9) and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. (John 1:12).
